Giving to St Mary Magdalene

St Mary Magdalene is kept going by the generosity of those who worship here, and others in Welwyn Garden City who value having the church here. If you would like to give, thank you.
How to give regularly
The simplest way to give regularly, or to make a one-off gift, is through the Parish Giving Scheme. It collects donations by Direct Debit on the parish's behalf, and you can give monthly, quarterly, annually, or just once.
- Online: give through the Parish Giving Scheme
- By phone: 0333 002 1271 (Mon to Fri, 9am to 5pm)
If you pay UK tax you can add Gift Aid, which adds 25p to every £1 you give, at no cost to you. The Parish Giving Scheme will ask about this when you set up your gift.
Giving in church
You are very welcome to give during the Sunday service, when a collection is taken. There are Gift Aid envelopes in church if you would like to Gift Aid a cash gift, and a card machine at the back if you would rather pay by card or phone.
What your giving pays for
Giving keeps the church open. It covers heating and lighting, the upkeep of the building, the work of the church, and what we do with our neighbours, from hosting community groups to the Compassionate Café.
Other ways to give
If you would like to talk about leaving a gift in your will, or another way of giving, please contact our Treasurer at treasurer@st-mary-magdalene.org.uk.
Thank you for your generosity, and for being part of what happens here.
